Professor Alex Siow

Prof Siow was the first Chief Information Officer of the Housing Development Board (HDB) from 1989 to 2003, where he led the digital transformation of HDB into a more customer-centric organisation. During his presidency at the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) from 1997 – 2001, he introduced the internationally recognised Certification in IT Project Management programme and established the SCS Resource Centre. Currently a professor at the National University of Singapore, he advises business and technology executives globally, influencing the next generation of IT professionals through his leadership roles and active mentorship.

Er Chong is a distinguished civil engineer with decades of expertise in overseeing large-scale infrastructural projects. Dedicated to continuous professional development, he has been a registered Singapore Professional Engineer since 1996 and is accredited as an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. Er Chong has actively nurtured the local engineering community as a former President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) and is currently the Dean of IES College of Fellows, and Board Member of the IES Academy and IES Incubator and Accelerator, driving strategic initiatives to support and foster advancements in the engineering community.
Dr Chong Yoke Sin

Dr Chong transitioned to IT from a previous background in Chemistry, driven by her passion to “change the world” through technology. She has significantly impacted Singapore’s tech industry, leading National Computer Systems’ corporatisation, founding Integrated Health Information Systems (now Synapxe), and presiding over the Singapore Computer Society. Currently, Dr Chong chairs A*STAR’s Portfolio Management Committee and SMU’s Advisory Board for Computing and Information Sciences. She also serves on boards of the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Wilmar International, Great Eastern Holdings and Mount Alvernia Hospital. She has acquired various certifications, becoming a Senior Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors in 2024.

Dr Lee is currently the Chief HR Officer at Certis Group, where she leads the global HR practices and workforce development. Kannigadevi Narayanasamy

An early childhood educator of over 30 years, Kannigadevi is dedicated to helping children from different backgrounds and abilities to fulfil their potential. As the Assistant Director at Presbyterian Preschool Services, she oversees early intervention programmes across 13 childcare centres, developed the Educarer Aide Training programme and has led impactful early childhood education projects in Mumbai and Jakarta. Additionally, Kannigadevi is a member of a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) mentorship group comprising experienced educators. She looks forward to deepening her expertise in UDL while pursuing more professional development opportunities to make a positive impact in her profession.
Lilian Yew Siew Mee

Lilian began her career in 1992 as a general nurse before transitioning to a specialised ICU role in 1997. She is currently the Chief Nurse and Accredited Programme Provider Director at Raffles Hospital where she spearheads ‘Nursing Continuing Professional Development’ through education initiatives and personal mentorship. She also shapes the hospital’s pursuit of the highest professional standards and quality goals. Lilian is a lifelong learner who continues to deepen her expertise. She has obtained a Master of Education from the Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Health Science (Management) from the University of Sydney, among other accreditations.

With a PhD in Nanotechnology and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management, Dr Soon possesses expertise in both deep technology and law. Dr Soon is a sought-after international speaker for her insights on leveraging IP strategy for sustainable innovation. She is passionate about lifelong learning and diversity, and is committed to nurturing young professionals in the STEM and IP landscape.
Syed Mohamed Ali

Ali’s career began in 1994 as a Container Equipment Specialist with PSA Corporation Limited. Embracing learning and development opportunities, he navigated transformational shifts and technological disruptions, and progressed from manually operating yard cranes to operating complex, semi-automated quay cranes. Ali advocates and champions continuous learning, trains other container equipment specialists in new technologies and prepares them for operations at the Tuas Port. As he prepares for his new role as an Assistant Operations Executive 1, he looks forward to acquiring new skills in Systems Thinking, Effective Presentations, Power BI, and the Art of Influencing and Persuasion.
Tan Chee Hian John

John started his career as a technician before advancing to become an engineer, but it was his foray into gardening in 1993 that sparked his passion for horticulture and spurred him to pursue Diplomas in Horticulture and Landscape Design. He subsequently founded Esmond Landscape and Horticultural Pte Ltd. He is an advocate for continual skilling and initiated a scholarship programme for his staff and ITE students to support their pursuit of training and upskilling. John also engages with students through garden shows and landscape talks at ITEs and Polytechnics, as well as providing mentorship programmes within his company.
Dr Terence Yow Tuck Sheng

Dr Terence Yow is a dedicated social worker and educator with over 25 years of experience in Singapore’s social service sector. As a Senior Lecturer at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, Dr Yow nurtures future practitioners in the sector. He also conducts training at the Social Service Institute and provides clinical supervision and coaching for social workers and leaders. Recognising the importance of continuous education, he earned his Master’s degree and PhD in Social Science (Social Work) from the National University of Singapore whilst managing corporate responsibilities. Wendy Chua

Once an apprentice herself, Wendy is passionate about nurturing the next generation of designers. She has been an adjunct lecturer at Institutes of Higher Learning and teaching design in schools for 15 years. Dedicated to continuous learning, Wendy is embarking on her PhD research journey while leading the new programme BA (Hons) Design for Social Futures at the University of the Arts Singapore. Wendy is also a multi-disciplinary designer and co-founder of Forest & Whale, a practice which advocates for design with social and environmental impact, and actively explores sustainable solutions for real world issues.
Yap Aye Wee

Aye Wee, a firm believer in lifelong learning, spent 16 years in OCBC Bank and 13 years in Singapore Airlines, holding diverse roles such as Product Innovation and Learning. In her current role, she nurtures organisational learning culture through initiatives such as ‘Campus Stars’, ‘Mentor Me’ and ‘Coaching for Growth’. She engages the ecosystem to uplift learning culture through initiatives like OCBC’s leadership programme for youths of the Singapore Children’s Society and other schools. Additionally, she is an active member and advisor to the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP), the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore, and is an IHRP Master Professional.
