As announced by Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, at the SkillsFuture Fellowships and Employer Awards Ceremony, the second edition of the Skills Demand for the Future Economy Report was published today by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Similar to the inaugural (2021) report, this second edition aims to share jobs and skills insights with Singaporeans so that they can better plan their skills development journey.

The Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) will now be responsible for systematically raising the quality of adult teaching and adult learning across the Training and Adult Education (TAE) Sector. On the second day of the inaugural Global Lifelong Learning Summit, Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, announced that, to this end, IAL shall be designated as a National Centre of Excellence for Adult Learning (NCAL).

A Clean Energy Jobs-Skills Insights (JSI) analysis jointly developed by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)1 and the Energy Market Authority (EMA) has identified the key growth areas emerging from shifts in the energy landscape, and the skills with high growth in demand. These insights will empower Singaporeans to position themselves to capture these growth opportunities of the future.
